![]() Speaking of Rowan and Neil… Their romance was absolutely adorable. It was lovely reading about the way Rowan and Neil bonded over this shared interest and I loved all the Jewish references! There are not nearly enough books featuring Jewish characters, let alone main characters – I think pretty much all of the other books I’ve read with Jewish characters have been set during WW2 – so it was really nice to read this, especially as someone who doesn’t follow the tradition. I also really appreciated the protagonists being Jewish. ![]() It was a really clever way to incorporate the storyline with the vibrant setting of Chicago, and I really appreciated the inclusion of it. It was a really interesting concept and, as someone who’s never visited the city before, I felt like I really got to know the city. best view of the city) and had to travel across Chicago and find them, in order to win. ![]() I think one of the things which really made this book stand out was definitely the Howl game. To Rowan’s surprise, the two actually get along – but once the night is over things will go back to normal… Right? Rowan and Neil have always been rivals – but after finding out people are out to get them in this year’s Howl game (which takes the students all across the city) they reluctantly team up.
